Carpet Steam Cleaning

We recommend our carpet cleaning service every 6 months to a year depending on the amount of traffic. This is also recommended by Shaw Industries, the largest carpet manufacturer.

Step 1 Pre-Inspection
Our technician will walk through your home with you to visually inspect the carpet. He will identify potential permanent stains and give an evaluation of expected results.

Note that if a customer's house is vacuumed prior to our arrival, the cleaning process will be more efficient and is greatly appreciated.

Step 2: Furniture Moving
Our regular pricing includes moving sofas, chairs, tables and smaller items. Beds, dressers and heavier pieces are left in place under our regular pricing structure. One of our consultants can quote the exact cost of any heavier pieces if requested.

Step 3 Pre-Spray
A preconditioning agent is applied to break down traffic area soil and general spots for more thorough cleaning.

Step 4 Pre-Spot
Difficult spots are pre-treated with special solutions to increase changes of removal.

Step 5 Pre-Grooming
When necessary, a professional carpet groomer is used to further loosen the soil.

Step 6 Soil Extraction & Rinse
The carpet is then thoroughly rinsed with a powerful extraction cleaning system without ever wetting the carpet or leaving a sticky residue behind.

Step 7 Neutralizer
Every carpet that we clean is PH balanced so that there is no sticky residue left behind. This also leaves your carpet soft and fresh.

Step 8 Post Spot
Any spots or stains still remaining will get extra treatment with our many specialty spotting solutions.

Note that for longer carpet life and fewer permanent stains, be sure to have a professional carpet protector applied to your carpet.

Step 9 Post Groom
Your carpet is groomed with a professional groomer so that the pile of your carpet is standing tall when we leave. Post grooming helps the carpet pile dry faster and in the right direction.

Step 10 Post Cleaning Inspection
Our technician will walk through your home with you to point out the cleaning results to make sure that you are completely thrilled with the job.

Note that after the cleaning process the customer should keep the temperature in the house around 72°–74° with the ceiling fan on if possible. Drying time is estimated to be between 5–24 hours.

Additional services that we offer are the application of a carpet protector or deodorizer afterwards.

Carpet Protector
Totally new Maxim™ Advanced uses the latest technology to deliver the very best levels of protection available. Not only does it protect against oil and water based spills and dry soils, but it protects fibers from the toughest dye stains "from the inside out"! Carpet protector is necessary after cleaning because each time a rug is steam cleaned the protector that is built into the carpet is removed. No problem at all to put that stain protection right back into the fibers!

Deodorizer
Our deodorizers take the best nature has to offer for a truly exhilarating fragrance. uses natural vegetable protein enzymes to neutralize the toughest odors. A carpet deodorizer is necessary if any odor is present. We highly recommend a deodorizer for customers with pets and children for the reasons of making it a healthier environment.

Home Pro SpotterHome Pro Spotter (Water Based)
This is a product that we sell to help clean up small stains in between our professional cleanings. This cleaner is a water based cleaner that is superior to the items selling at local stores. Soap based cleaners may clean up the stain right away, but the soap never comes out completely. This leaves your carpet with a slightly sticky residue that attracts dirt. This soapy residue actually does more harm than good to your carpet and makes it difficult for us to steam clean that area next time. Ask us about getting a bottle of our water based spotter!
